About Sufi Muhammad Ismail رحمتہ اللہ علیہ
Muhammad Ismail (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) was a distinguished Islamic scholar, Sufi, and spiritual poet from Kund Panjeri, Bhimber (Mirpur), Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. Born in 1928, he dedicated his entire life to the service of Islam, the propagation of the teachings of the Holy Qur’an, and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
He was a devoted student of Ustad-ul-Ulama Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Nabi Bakhsh Halwai (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) of Delhi Gate, Lahore, Pakistan. Under his guidance, Muhammad Ismail (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) acquired profound religious and spiritual knowledge, which later became the foundation of his scholarly and literary contributions.
Muhammad Ismail (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) authored 94 Sufi and religious books in Punjabi poetic form and left behind a rich collection of spiritual poetry. Through his writings, he conveyed the timeless message of Islam, emphasizing peace, love, unity, compassion, and devotion to Allah. His poetry served as a beacon of guidance, helping people understand the true essence of divine love, the purpose of human existence, and the path to spiritual enlightenment.
His legacy continues to inspire generations, spreading the values of faith, harmony, and righteousness in society. May Allah Almighty shower His infinite mercy upon him and grant him the highest ranks in Jannah. Ameen.

Sufi Muhammad Ismail
One of the greatest and most appreciated achievements of Muhammad Ismail (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) is his complete Tafseer of the Holy Quran in Punjabi poetry with translation. This remarkable work was written to help people better understand the message of the Qur’an in their native language.
Another well-known book written by him is Saif-ul-Malook, a beautiful collection of Sufi poetry that reflects the teachings of love, spirituality, and devotion to Allah.
